Privacy Choices
Translator Keyboard is committed to giving you control over your privacy. This page explains how you can manage your ad privacy and data preferences directly within the app.
Managing Ad Privacy In-App
Translator Keyboard includes a built-in Privacy Dashboard that allows you to control how your data is used for advertising purposes. To access it:
- Open the Translator Keyboard app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Navigate to Settings.
- Tap Privacy Dashboard.
- Select Manage Ad Privacy Choices.
From the Privacy Dashboard, you can:
- Opt out of personalized ads: Choose to receive only non-personalized advertisements.
- Review your consent status: See what data collection you have consented to and update your preferences at any time.
- Reset your ad preferences: Clear your current ad privacy settings and start fresh.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS 14.5+)
On devices running iOS 14.5 or later, Translator Keyboard will ask for your permission before allowing any tracking-related data collection by ad providers. You can change this permission at any time:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- Find Translator Keyboard and toggle tracking on or off.
If you deny tracking permission, only non-personalized ads will be shown when you choose to watch rewarded ads.
Disabling Full Access
If you prefer to use Translator Keyboard without any network connectivity (and therefore without ads, translations, or AI features), you can disable Full Access:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to General > Keyboard > Keyboards.
- Tap Translator Keyboard.
- Toggle off Allow Full Access.
With Full Access disabled, the keyboard operates as a basic input tool with no external data transmission of any kind.
Deleting Your Data
Translator Keyboard stores all user preferences and settings locally on your device. To delete all app data:
- Uninstall the Translator Keyboard app from your device. This removes all locally stored data, preferences, and settings.
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on remote servers, so there is no server-side data to request deletion of.
