Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Translator Keyboard iOS application and keyboard extension (collectively, the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. App Features
Translator Keyboard provides the following features through an iOS custom keyboard extension:
- Translation: Real-time text translation between multiple languages.
- AI Writing Assistance: AI-powered text generation, rewriting, and style adjustment tools.
- Voice Dictation: Speech-to-text input using the device microphone.
- Standard Keyboard Input: Full keyboard functionality for everyday typing.
Features may vary depending on your subscription status and device capabilities. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time.
2. AI Output Disclaimer
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate translations and writing suggestions. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content.
- Translations are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed to be accurate or suitable for professional, legal, medical, or other critical uses.
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and editing any AI-generated content before using it.
- We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated output.
- We are not liable for any consequences arising from your use of or reliance on AI-generated content.
3. Voice Dictation Disclaimer
The voice dictation feature converts spoken words to text using speech recognition technology. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Speech recognition accuracy varies depending on language, accent, background noise, and device capabilities.
- Dictated text may contain errors and should be reviewed before use.
- Voice dictation requires microphone permission and Full Access to be enabled.
- We are not responsible for errors in transcription or any consequences resulting from inaccurate dictation.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
The App offers optional subscription plans that provide access to premium features:
- Subscriptions are processed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device.
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as we do not process payments directly.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
5. Rewarded Ads and Bonus Access
Users without an active subscription may choose to watch rewarded video ads to earn temporary access to premium features:
- Rewarded ads are entirely optional. You are never required to watch an ad.
- Bonus access earned through rewarded ads is temporary and subject to expiration.
- The availability, duration, and type of bonus access may change at any time.
- Rewarded ads are served by third-party ad networks (Google AdMob) and are subject to their terms of service.
- We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to generate, translate, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or its components.
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription requirements, usage limits, or other access controls.
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services or interfere with other users.
- Use automated means to access or interact with the App beyond its intended interface.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all associated content, design, and technology are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
- We disclaim all warranties including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.
- Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or its subscriptions in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for any loss of data, inaccurate translations, errors in AI output, or service interruptions.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
